Who are the key people behind the company?Lauri Pukkinen is a co-founder, responsible for sales and marketing. What problems are we solving?Telemarketing and inside sales can be made more effective, easy and fun through technology. For instance, back-office routines, coaching , reporting, compliance can be greatly improved with the right tools. However, the tools need to be flexible, scalable and inexpensive before they offer any real solution to most companies. Too often systems are way too heavy, expensive, offer too narrow feature set or too complex interfaces, and are not really supporting the salesman. Also VoIP is too often thought as a one-size-fits-all solution. Reliability is a crucial factor in our products. Our customers use LeadDesk typically for every sales interaction they have. With more than 1,000,000 calls are completed with LeadDesk products every week – even a one-minute hick-up would not go unnoticed. Historically we have reached a higher than 99.6% service level. What else do I need to know?Having a systematic way of making outbound telephone calls can be a great business driver. Often this involves contacting existing or potential customers. Telemarketing, telesales, lead generation, appointment setting / appointment booking, telephone research, customer satisfaction surveys, debt collection, calling lab results etc. are all activities involving high numbers of outbound cold calls. Often these activities are performed in-house. The responsible group is often the sales department. However, often an outside service provider is used – e.g., a magazine publisher uses external company for consumer telesales or B2B service provider uses an external company for lead generation. In any case, outbound calling is rarely bundled with inbound contact center activities. LeadDesk provides tools for these activities. These tools can be used as a complete call center solution or as a partial solution with any existing CRM.
